So while everyone’s raving over their end of the world plans, I got reminded of a thought I had after graduation. And I guess this post will be a pretty apt end too, if the world does end at 711pm local time later (hor Stoofi? See how I ruined her day here lol)
Anyway, it was a busy year of almost there’s and for the first time in my life, failed more than succeeded (in the generic sense). After a month of being lost and depressed, I started believing that the world was really coming to an end. Odd right?
But really, believing so gave me the courage and excuse to look beyond the rat race for happiness. The result, was a bucket list that reminded me of what’s important, as well as a few other fun and crazy things. Life’s not a list, but having one helps a little :>.
Top 10
(1) Have a Christmas Party with my closest friends every year
Ok this is kinda like a task that I can never “check” but I really love Christmas man. Plus the people around you are really the ones who keep you sane and happy.
(2) Go base jumping
I can only say that fear keeps us alive. And the dreams of flying will always remain.

(3) Win a lucky draw
This may sound quite lame, but the only thing I’ve ever won is a black umbrella. Oh did I also mention that everyone won something from that lucky draw? -_-”
(4) Make a snow angel… NAKED
Despite traveling extensively (30+ countries now!!), I’ve never seen snow. Deprived me needs to do something drastic. Ok maybe not naked but at least in my undies man. lol
(5) Pay for my parents to travel
My folks lived in times where opportunities to travel were far less. Hopefully when they retire in a couple of years, I’ll have the means to send them around the world.
(6) Have a friend from every corner of the world
Perspectives shape our lives, and talking to people from different cultures remind me of how narrow minded we can sometimes be.
(7) Start traveling with only a plane ticket
For the ultimate adventure.
(8) Build my own company
The details to this are still a closely guarded secret, but I would relish the opportunity to build something which I can call my own.
(9) Dance like no one is watching
Yet to reach this level, but really hope to be able to have the confidence to dance freely one day.
(10) Play the piano or guitar proficiently
Now that you’ve seen some of mine, what’s yours?
i knew your bucket list would be a good one! :D
