Cheat sheet to long weekend getaways in 2016 (Singapore) –
Woohooo! It’s time to chope (or plan) your 2016 long weekend getaways with the official release of next year’s public holidays. The 2016 calendar year promises 11 public holidays and 6 long weekends, but that’s still 1 shy of the 7 official long weekends in 2015. But fret not! All you need is to apply for that strategic 1 day leave, and 2016 will pamper you with 7 long weekends!
Unfortunately, there are fewer possible SUPER long weekends in 2016 compared to this year, thus it may be harder to do a longer, further trip. It also doesn’t make sense to spend a bomb on a short vacation. So I’ve done the research for you by coming up with 7 relaxing 3D2N beach getaways under S$200 (inclusive of flight/boat and accommodation from Singapore)! Prices constantly change, so I’ll try to update them whenever I can… but the general idea is there!
Feel free to download and share! Do credit and link back if possible though. :)
7 Relaxing 3D2N Beach Long Weekend Getaways from Singapore
I mainly used Skyscanner & Airbnb for the flight and accommodation prices as they return pretty good results and I’m used to them already. The interfaces of both are also really nice, and I like to look at pretty things! For accommodation, I don’t always go for the cheapest as I still want to maintain a good level of comfort.
So here are my top 7 long weekend getaway picks!
