I’m glad that resolutions work. Looking back at my 2013 resolutions, it’s nice to realize that although they may not be at the level I want them to be yet, there was definitely progress. There were many tough decisions made (read: The grass is greener on the other side), and even surprises towards the end. So I guess all in all it was still pretty good.
2014 will be a year of doingthingsiwillregretifidon’tdothemnow and I hope that penning them down would motivate me to put words into action.
And if there is one overarching resolution, it is to not let fear stop us from doing anything. If things go well, we have an awesome story to tell. If it doesn’t, we still have an awesome story to tell.
So here it goes.
a) Trip to the unknown

I’ve always wanted to try this. Get a friend to buy a ticket somewhere and pass it to me only at the airport. No planning of what to see and what to do, just travel somewhere.
b) Mount Kinabalu

I’ve been on many treks, yet never been to tallest mountain closest of us. KK, see you in March this year.
c) Skiing in Seoul
Other than the brief morning snow during my trek in the Czech Republic, I’ve never really seen or played with snow. This January, it’s finally getting real. Skiing in Seoul with my best buds, meeting old friends, snow angels and makgeolli.
d) South America

e) FIFA World Cup 2014
The mecca for any Football fan. And this year it’s back in Brazil!!! There’s no better time to head there.
f) Advanced Open Water Diving Certification
To explore the depths of the ocean is to unlock the wonders of the World.

a) Keep up with my loose routine of keeping fit, dancing more and practicing the guitar.
b) Learn a new language.
c) Grow Dancelah and continue serving the community.
d) Be more patient to my parents and aunts (from last year).
e) Continue to trust more (from last year).
f) Create more. Think, draw, photograph, film, design, write.
So to anyone out there reading this, as much as I love doing things alone, I would love to work/travel/collab with you if our paths cross and the stars align. Just drop me a PM :).
